Modicon Compact Issues

I have an installation with a modicon Compact 984-145 and am having issues. The processor is dead so I had a 984-130 put in the rack changed the config in the program and downloaded it to the new processor. The I/O does not respond The traffic cop shows all the correct I/O but they have ? marks (proworks 32) the status says the health bit is not set. I have cleared the traffic cop and re entered and this did not resolve the issue. I have also replaced the p120 PS thinking it was not supplying power to the Backplane. No Luck. Is it possible whatever took out the CPU has damaged the I/O? There was a lightning storm that passed through when the CPU failed. I called Tech support but in Canada they do not support this product any more and I have to get a service contract to the US tech support. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

May have been damage to the mounting base. Never can tell with lightning.
