FINS TCP driver for Linux

7 posts in this topic

I was wondering if anyone has looked into developing a FINS TCP driver for Linux, or has worked on this? Any comments would be welcome.

No expert, but yes as far as I know you can run Jave JRE on Linux. Would this be the way to go?

In 2001, we got it developed (but only for DM read and DM Write). It was written in Java and was used with CS1W-ETN11. The OS was Redhat Linux 7. Two years back , the application was ported to Ubuntu. SVN

The source code is with the company which developed the driver. It was based on the 'C' source code given in ETN11 manual. The companyhas shifted their focus from linux to embedded development and Windows. The porting to Ubuntu was done by different company. SVN Edited by svn
