cable tie mounts

Hello, Just wondering if anyone could recommend an adhesive-backed mounting pad that actually holds and doesn't fall off 3 months after installation. Thanks very much, plcdp

Try a small drop of superglue on the adhesive before mounting.

I recommend a silicon based adhesive, similar to what is used to hold a rear-view mirror to a windshield. It is best for temperature changes, if the problem is a chemical reaction of some sort due to the process you may need to research those reactions. Of course with all adhesives one must follow directions, i.e. "clean dry surfaces". If there is a thin film of cutting oil on the back panel, not much will stick very well. However, nothing will beat a self tapping screw or similar. Edited by RussB

We usually use them on stainless panels and when we put them on we will put some 5-minute epoxy on the corners. That seems to hold up the best for us.
