CompactLogix slot numbers

5 posts in this topic

I would have thought I could find this in the manual. If I take a 1769-L32E processor and put it to the far left it would be in slot 0. Next would be the power supply 1769-PA2. As far as addressing is this considered as slot 1? Or would the next I/O card be slot 1? Does the power supply use take up a slot number? Thanks in advance!

Power supplies are transparent to the slot numbering, they do not count as a slot.
