I'm trying to do this very thing.  I have an array of 1000 x 2  Strings that I need to move from excel to a string array in a compact logix.

What flavor of Linx are you using?   Lite/Single Point/OEM/Gateway?

I was using Linx OEM and I believe Excel 97 when I built this. Please note Microsoft has deprecated DDE in the current versions of Excel and you'll need to research the OPC example downloads.

I have the VB working in excel, Integers, Reals and Strings.  I'm trying to call this from SIte Edition. I can't seem to figure out how to set up the OPC server to see Excel.  Any thoughts?
