Micrologix 1200 and 1761-NETENI

I recently installed a 1761- NETENI to a machine with a Micrologix 1200 controller. I would like to be able to use the email feature to send an alarm log as well as some other usefull information. I have the ENI set with the server's IP address as well as an email address. From here I am confused as I have not used the Message instruction or String data file before so I am unsure how to proceed. I have tried various sources for help but I guess I would like someone to walk me through the steps to accomplish this. Any help would be welcome and if any additional info is needed please let me know and I will provide it. Thanks Tom
