C200HS and MODBUS

Hello , I have C200HS PLC with 2 racks . On each rack I have 2 empty channels . Is there any chance to buy a Modbus module to this PLC ? Best regards Pawel

A module of ModBus doesn't exist for these PLCs. A solution is to put a C200H-ASCxx and to make you the protocol in language Basic that is it they make these modules. It can be very hard. Regards.

Falpaw, Automation is partly correct... Yes, for modbus to work you need ans ASC02 card (generally) Secondly, omron issued the modbus slave and modbus master protocol programs for the ASC02 card years ago. If you choose to go down this path I can certainly upload the programs for you.

Do you need Modbus Master or Modbus Slave code for C200HS? It makes a difference. Modbus Slave Ladder Code for C200HS and Others @ MrPLC.com
