CX One Simulator Problem

6 posts in this topic

I have CX One ver. 3.0 installed on my computer. One month after installation, I lose the "Start PLC-PT Integrated Simulation" button (it goes gray) in both CX Programmer and CX Designer and there for cannot start the simulation. Then I simply repeat the installation of CX Simulator and the button again works normally for another month or so, when I need to do it all over again. Does anyone have similar experiences?

Using a registry cleaner perhaps ? CX-Simulator disabled from within CX-Programmer ?

It is very strange. I know CX-One Trial. To the 30 days it no longer allows to execute anything. Alone it can settle again after a "good cleaning". It proves of upgrading CX-One through the web: CX-One Auto Update You should be registered. If you are not able to it is that your license has some problem.

Thanks PdL, it was problem in registry. I've added missing lines in registry and Simulator works again!

You might want to check if your registry cleaner (if you use one) also checks for invalid application paths. Mine did and since I disabled that check it doesn't happen again.
