A1SD51S, BASIC Module

Dear guys, Currently I am working on a project that use A1SD51S to get the data from a Load Cell Converter, using RS232 comm and then print the result on a Serial Printer. However, I can't find any manual of AD51H-BASIC Programming Manual (command) (Manual No: SH-080090, or IB-66567 or SH-080093). I can only get AD51H-BASIC Programming Manual (Debug and Compile). In fact, I don't know why there are so many Manual No that refer to the Manual that I need which is AD51H-BASIC Programming Manual (command). Is there anybody that have the experience and can inform where I can get the Manual? (I have tried to search all official Mitsubishi Electric websites but still can't find it). MEAU is the US subsidiary, and is only accessible from North and South America. The website you were redirected to is one of the global websites. Try http://global.mitsubishielectric.com and find your local Mitsubishi office.

Hi Crossbow, I've tried to go to several Mitsubishi Electric websites. But still I am not able to get the Manual. It seems that Mitsubishi doesn't have the same policy for all of its websites. Is there a way that I can go to MEAU website and yet, allow me to download it the Manual? Without the manual, I wouldn't be able to know how to program A1SD51S properly. Such as when to open/close communication to port 1 or port 2, etc. Thanks, Kuncoro W

Hi Funfrok, Thanks for your email. But, I have done searching the website of Mitsubishi Automation UK (http://www.mitsubishi-automation.co.uk), which I guess, referring to the same as yours. From there I can only find A1SD51 Programming Manual (Debug and Compile) but not Programming Manual (Command). Anyhow, thanks.

I will try to post SH-080090 and IB-66567 here. Did you ever try to contact Mitsubishi and ask them where to get the manual? There must be a Mitsubishi office in your country.

Hi Crossbow, Thanks. There is no Mitsubishi Electric (Automation division), only Lift and Escalator division and Refrigerator. However, there is an agent of Mitsubishi Automation here, but they don't have the manual and it seems they don't know much about this BASIC module. Thanks again. Best regards, Kuncoro W

Actually the manual you found at CC-Link is another manual, for another product, not the AD51. It's the only instance I've ever found where somehow Mitsubishi released 2 manuals on different products with the same number.

Dear all, Thanks for your response. Sorry for not showing up these last few days. Finally, I hv finished my project last week. I asked my customer to get the manual from Mitsubishi Agent where they buy the Module. Regards, Kuncoro W

I also want to read/write data between PC and PLC (PLC has A1SD51S Module)

And, I find some documentation as below:

I study this manual and see:

1. We need software: sw1ivd-ad51hp-e. However, it only install in Windows 98/XP --> I still download this software test in other Windows(Windows 7 or Windows 10)

---> If you have this software and do it. Please help me to comment this case.

2.If we have many package (include PLC + A1SD51S), we can connect with 1 PC or not.

I ask it, because I have not just find register package No.

If you have experiences about this module, software.. Pls advantage for me.

I know this module is very old, but ... I have the system that already PLC + A1SD51 Module and I'm want to read/write data for i.

Contact your local Mitsubishi technical support, perhaps they can provide it.  I do not know if that software was free or if you had to buy it, in all my years never come across the D51...
