Hi, You can use your MPI Adaptor for S7-300 and 400 Also but you need PPI Adaptor(6ES7-901-3CB30-0XA0) for all S7-200 CPUs. Ns.

Sorry chaps, I think you can use the MPI cable for s7-200, refer to page 215 of latest s7-200 manual, I quote "MPI allows both master-master and master-slave communications. See Figure 7-8. To communicate with an S7-200 CPU, STEP 7--Micro/WIN establishes a master--slave connection. MPI protocol does not communicate with an S7-200 CPU operating as a master." Mike
