can a c200hs-mp16 work on c200he? or c200h? i pulled it out in a cqm1, and was wondering if it could work on other omron plcs. also thanks a lot jay for the info, it was very useful

Yes, a C200HS-MP16K will work on a C200He, but if you pulled it out of a CQM1, it won't run the CQM1 program. You will have to erase the EPROM and reprogram it with an EPROM burner.
