  1. Hi everybody, Recently, I started working on a project. I want to develop a program for a Micro820 controller (2080-LC20-20AWB) using CCW (Connected Components Workbench). I built a little motor circuit for testing purpose. However, after building the program and downloading it to the controller, I tried to connect to my controller via CCW, but I can't. When I click the button "Connect", CWW crashes OR a window saying : "The controller has unnacepted changes" appears and asks me if I want to "Download current project to the controller" (wich I already did) or "Upload the project in the controller to overwrite current project content" (wich is grayed out). When I choose to "Download current project to the controller", CCW starts downloading the resource, but fails. In the "Output" window, there's a line saying : "Download failed for Device:Micro820: An error occured while reading from GETACTIVERESOURCELIST.". The problem is that there's no documentation at all concerning this error. I even tried to reinstall CCW, but it didn't fix the problem. I joined some images so you guys can see what I'm talking about. Don't mind asking for more details !

    I. Developed new application   TCP_IP_Connection 1. As a controller you can use the other type of controllers, for example, Yaskawa, Siemens, ABB and  other. They require rework program Server_controller.exe only to  interface of exchange with controller. So for Yaskawa controller family 2300Siec this interface already developed and used in industrial conditions. 2. The application includes the following controls: A. Smartphone – computer - controller. - modes  read/write of memory cells and  bits of the controller OMRON      (DM,W,EM,CIO,HR); - continuous cyclic polling of the memory areas; - the formation of Alarms in the event of errors of control system; - Display Gauges for 6 variables in real time; - Display Scopes for 6 variables in real time; - formation of statistical data on the operation of the equipment. B. Smartphone - computer. - sending  and receiving text  messages; - sending and receiving  picture image; - transfer photos from a smartphone;  - transfer images from built-in Web camera of the laptop; - reading the contents of a directory on the computer or laptop; - reading contents of a text file. С. Smartphone -smartphone / computer - computer. - sending and receiving text messages; - sending and receiving of picture image; - transfer photos from smartphone to smartphone (from computer to computer); - send the image with the built in webcam of a laptop to another laptop; - reading the contents of a directory on the computer or laptop; - reading contents of a text file. 3. Work application Server_Send_Receive.exe and Server_Controller.exe tested on computers running the Windows 7 operating system. Work application TCP_IP_Connection.apk was tested on smartphones Samsung, Phillips  running the operating system Android 5.0, Android 6.0. It requires the use of a smartphone with a display diagonal of 5 inches and more. 4. App TCP_IP_Connection.the apk  paid, the cost per user is $ 5 USA. Distributed through Google Play.   7. I am unable to read FBD program in RSlogix 5000.It says editor not downloaded.I m able to see ladder logic programs.
  8. Im having some trouble with a PLC and looking for a some help. Whats happening is output number 3 is stuck on. I thought maybe it was just the PLC. I pulled the program tried it on a new PLC with no luck. I checked for faults and the handheld shows no major faults. The output that is stuck on is for a door, its telling it that the door is open. Any help would be great.

  10. Beckhoff PLC Counter

    Hi everyone, I need some help with my PLC programming. I am currently using a twincat 2 software and a Beckhoff CX 8090. Basically, the gist of my program is to send and receive data and datalog the input data received from the sensors and timestamp the received data for every 1 second. I want to create a boot up counter where it will count the number of times my data logging program has restarted(if it did). This boot up counter serves as a health monitoring check to ensure that my program is running perfectly and thus, not restarting randomly when it shouldn't.     I need help with a program I wrote for school that didn't work quite right.  I have to make a chasing light program that will freeze the lights when a PB is engaged and reverse when PB is engaged on light 1.  The assignment has already been turned in but our instructor ( if you want to call him that) has told us a similar sequence will be on the final.  Can anyone help me out??

    Dear Sir, I need to update the PLC program offline with online, so I tried to compare the program blocks but I got the error that The comparison of the two blocks in STL showed that codes are identical.   21. I have a problem when trying to download a program from a FX1S-30MT PLC. I am using a SC-09 USB cable. The software i am using is GX Developer 8. When trying to download the MAIN program the screen in the attachment appears. I tested the download from another PLC of same model and have no problems, therefore the cable is ok, and the laptop is ok. When downloading of the parameters and comments does not give error, just when trying to download MAIN. Also I tested connection with Test Connection button and says communication is ok. Anyone who can help? I have a doubt, how can i see the communication parameters on the PLC side? Thanks a lot

  23. Hello: I'm not sure how to go about creating the structure of this program, would like some ideas/help. I have a program that checks/reads 8 analog inputs and compares each input against 4 different settings, if the value is outside any of these settings the program runs a subroutine to send out an email for (Alarm/Event) notification for that particular input. The way the program is structured now is that it reads analog input 0 first and checks against the settings if the reading is not in range it will call a subroutine to send out email for that sensor(analog AI:0.0) then it will return and read for Analog input #1 and check reading and if it needs to it will call another subroutine to send out email for that sensor(analog AI:0.1) and so forth. What I need to add, is a way to count how many times a sensor(input) has sent the alarm email because I want to limit this to 5 notifications after that, stop sending emails. Now this has to be done for each sensor(input).(Note: I would also like to have a timer involved so that it will only send emails about every 15 minutes for 5 counts.) I need this because the plc will send out emails until the error for the sensor has been corrected, this could take a few hours and if I don't have some sort of control, that would result in 1000's of emails being sent and world probably get shut down for spamming. Would like some ideas on how I should go about this. I am using a micrologix 1100 and rslogix 500 software. Thanks
