IN TIA Portal V13 HMI Alarm Setup, Discrete Alarm Not allowing Bool Tags in "Tag Trigger". Please help how to set Bool Alarms?

Hi Guys I was wondering if any one of you could tell me how to set up some basic button functions? I need a basic instruction on how the followering button setup, could be done on the HMI, preferable with exaples or tutorials etc. !!! I´m working with the current setup: NX1P2, using Sysmac Studio, Module version 1.25.1.0, along with a NA5-Terminal, version 1.18 !!!  START_VALVE_1_BUTTON = Toggle, Momentary, Set or ?? - (Need the START_VALVE_1_BUTTON to activate ON_BUTTON & OFF_BUTTON flashing, indicating selection option, ON or OFF, meaning activating start valve 1 mode, or deactivate the mode). START_VALVE_2_BUTTON = Toggle, Momentary, Set or ?? - (Need the START_VALVE_2_BUTTON to activate ON_BUTTON & OFF_BUTTON flashing, indicating selection option, ON or OFF, meaning activating start valve 2 mode, or deactivate the mode). ON_BUTTON = Toggle, Momentary, Set or ?? - (Need the OK_BUTTON & the OFF_BUTTON to flash simoustaniously, after START_VALVE_1_BUTTON, or START VALVE_2_BUTTON has been pushed). Dear all Please identify me i am having one Issue in my PLC.When I changed the IP of my plc then suddenly its showing error ERH its mean IP address wrong but  My CPU setting is same like previous means unit no=0, x16^0=0 ,Node=x16^0=1  and IP is 192.168.0.15 Mask add.255.255.255.0. but when I, transfer to PLC (in Program Mode) its not transferred(Failed to Transfer) please rectify me where I am doing wrong.

I have entered the messages many times into the Alarm Setup but every time i re-open the alarm setup, every message that has the Trigger Value=1 will be deleted.  Anyone have a similar issue?

I have restored a crashed IFIX to a new PC. The restore is ok and installed GE9 driver. With the GE9 power tools, we can observed that data transmits and recieve. The problem is that the screen scada is not updating i.e. no status/feedback, anything is happening. The LAN network TCP/IP was configured i.e. IP, subnet and gateway. Any remedies/advice is most welcome. Please provide a guide on the communication/configuration setup. Thanks

Hi. I have a ST-Lite Ethernet base (STL-ETH1) with 1 16 bit digital in card, 3 digital out cards, 2 analog in and 2 analog out cards. I have a Q03UDE CPU (Q PLC) with 1 16bit digital in and 1 digital out card. Now I like to setup the remote I/O (STL-ETH1) mapped to the Q PLC via the ethernet port on the CPU. Is it possible not to use Modbus at all. I don't want to go and buy a Modbus Ethernet card now. Have someone done this before?

I need to set up D/A module. I have few questions. What is the difference between offset and gain setting mode? I would like to use range 0 to 10V which would have to be set as user range setting, can I do it using GX Works 2? Or do I have to use the GX Configurator-DA package?
