Hi, I have a screen developed for supervisor access only but I would like to have an area to type in a password, and when the password is typed in correctly I'd like it to open a certain page. I'm not experienced with interactive text boxes or keypads etc. Is someone able to help me out determine what I need to do? Thanks

HELP! I have been tasked with setting the security levels on this GOT 1000 HMI on GT Designer 3, i have come into a problem and this error message keeps appearing: "Delete OS from GOT since authentication does not work if OS for Operator Authentication is installed". I have recently with success set the password levels on a new HMI GOT 2000 and was able to create a log in and log out switch within the program so i understand the procedure. Please see the picture below and i will appreciate any information. Matt R

Connection issues between Proface HMI and motor driver AZD CEP

Hi everyone , I need your help !!! I am currently working on a project where I have to control a stepper motor (oriental motor AZD CEP) with a proface HMI. To do this I use implicit Ethernet IP messaging. The problem is this: when I change screens, I lose the connection between the two devices. After 20-30 seconds, the connection is reestablished. I've already spent two days on it and I can't figure out where the problem is coming from. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong? If you need additional information or screenshots to understand, let me know. Thank you in advance for your help. -

Hi guys, my site uses mainly Mitsi PLC's & HMI's so not familiar with AllenBradley but i have two Micrologixe 1200 PLC's connected to Panelview 300 HMI's. The machines are twenty plus years old and now both HMI's are barely legible as the screens are so dim. I want to upgrade the HMI's as they are obsolete but my problem is, the program within the PLC is Password Protected and i cannot read, upload or download to the PLC. The original manufacturer has been taken over some years ago and no-one knows the password. They have sent me an old program that could possibly work which is not password protected, but i cannot download it to the PLC without the original Password. Can anyone help me?

Hi When opening a program (offline) when trying to see what password I left set in the program properties the password appears but is not visible. Can you help me.... how can see the password or how we can release the password without password.

We have Schneider HMI GXO3501. One of my collegue has uploaded a password in HMI and he has forgot it. Now we can't upload any things since it asks password for all.. How to recover it.?

Dear All, At the moment, I have project with PLC Delta and HMI Proface. I design HMI GP2500 by GP-PRO/PBIII ( V7.0). I see in List Device PLC of Software not support PLC Delta. Can you tell me how do you connect or Software HMI Proface ( Gp2500) support PLC Delta ? Thanks you very much.

Hello All, I am currently stuck at fx2n 232bd which has to communicate with proface 4301tw hmi , although i have many hmi's available but i am unable to communicate this with hmi, almost tried every thing i just wanna know the exactly settings in gp-prox fig 1 ... and fx cpu parameters anyone experienced guy ?? Hello guys, Can anyone help me about how to make a growing circle with proface program :). I would like to control it by a real tag or so on. Like if the real tag is getting bigger the circle has to be bigger too between a range. Unfortunatelly I didnt find any solution for this yet, maybe you guys are more experienced and someone could help me. Thanks ahead.

Sir, I have a problem storing logging data from GP Viewer EX to CSV file format. the GP Viewer screen displays an RFAA026 error that is "The specified folder does not exist on the server. Check the external storage for the specified folder". I do not understand about the folder in the server but for the external storage folder is correct. can anyone help -
Hi all, I am new here. I am also not very practical with PlC terminology. I never learnt any programming what so ever, only through, local dealer help and trial and error , have i managed to use the M810 and M820. I Have installed quite a bit of them mostly M810. When i need to access for some kind of modification or diagnosis of the system, I have trouble with the passwords. I was thinking that maybe i have used different passwords or maybe a caps . Always managed to work around the problem as i could find the program on the pc and re load after a flash. However lately i saw that i had a password that i was sure about , i even had taken a photo before i stored it on the M810. However still it did not work. I don't know why this is happening. I have changed the laptop recently, but the local dealer told me it should not do such problems with the password. The concern is even worse because the latest M810 lets you know when giving it a password that it will be rendered useless without the correct password. So if this problem arises i would have to bin the controller. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks and be safe

Hi Guys! Is there anybody worked already with Proface panel and RFID reader ? Can anybody help me with that ? Even it is possible to use RFID reader on a Proface touch panel ? The software what I use is RSlogix 5000 and of course, GP-PRO for the proface panel. Thank you so much for your answers.

Hello.. I have hmi Proface GP-4301TW, USB type B cable and ethernet cable. I want to transfer the program to the hmi but I cant. When I turn on the power of hmi, a series of test appears and finally it looks like the photo below and I cant enter the offline menu.. can anybody help me to solve the problem?

I have a customer that has a LS Master K PLC, and he needs me to make some changes to the program. I am not the original program writer so I do not have the original program nor the password. And the company that originally made this program does not exist anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions on a software or a device that can help me either find the password or just bypass it. I need help ASAP Please!!!!! I saw there is a password breaker while i was googling, but the software cost $50, and it looked a little sketchy so I am kind of hesitant to trust 1 purchasing the software and 2 downloading it only my work laptop. Please help!!
