  1. Greetings everyone, I have a Proface HMI(LT-4201TM Modular type DIO) connected to a siemens flow transmitter(MAG6000). Communication between these two devices is using modbus. The modbus register that im using to get the data/reading of a totalizer from siemens transmitter are 403022 and 403023. I managed to display the exact totalizer value from siemens transmitter on the Proface HMI screen. But I couldnt get the exact totalizer value at the ladder logic side, the value that i get at the ladder logic side seems like a raw value. For an example, the totalizer's value is 147083(real value), but at the ladder logic side the value for 403022=15598 and 403023=17316.   Can anyone guide me to solve this issue.   Thanks in advance.
  2. Hi everyone, my boss has recently decided that he wanted to start using proface hmi and ladder logic for projects. The model were using is the LM4301TADAC. Im really new to proface programming and I'm struggling with trying to get an ifm effector pressure transducer programmed in analog on this.  How do you program analog inputs and get them to work with the GP-Pro Ex software? Thank you everyone for your help!
  3. I'm trying to get an older system up and running again. I'm using the software from the original build and a new screen off the shelf. (we had one new in the box never been opened.) The program downloads fine but It never shows up on the screen. I get the same Ethernet setup screen that it originally powered up to new from box . I pulled the program from the same model screen and I can upload it to the old screen just fine. but it will not work with new screen, even though it seems to upload just fine.  Software is Quickdesigner 3.70 (yes it older)  Screen is a Proface GP2400-TC41-24V (which is the same model number of the old screen) Any help is greatly appreciated. (yes I cycled power)
  4. Quick Panel (TCP model) Upload

Hello All, I have an older Total Control Quick Panel QPI2D100L2P 10.4 inch Monochrome that I am trying to retrieve the program on. The original programmer is unknown and we do not have a copy of the program. The screen has gone out on this panel.I am using quickdesigner on an XP virtual machine. I have the correct programming cable the 8 pin DIN connector HMI-CAB-C49-JWhen I connect to the HMI, The software "sees" that the HMI is connected and says "waiting for the Display to be ready" then times out and tells me "the display is Hung" and another message "Turn display OFF" when I turn it off the software gives me the message "Turn Display ON" then when I turn it on, the software goes to "waiting for the Display device to be ready" and just sit there. Nothing more. I have waited for 20 mins for it to progress and nothing. At first I thought maybe the Panel that I am working on is just bad. However I get the same indications on another, same model, quick panel that IS working just fine. I know this is older stuff. And ProFace Support (who took over making the replacements from TCP) wont support using quick designer on anything other than a Win 2K machine or older. Anyone have experience with these panels?
  5. Dear All, At the moment, I have project with PLC Delta and HMI Proface. I design HMI GP2500 by GP-PRO/PBIII ( V7.0). I see in List Device PLC of Software  not support PLC Delta.  Can you tell me how do you connect or Software HMI Proface ( Gp2500) support PLC Delta ? Thanks you very much.
  6. I am trying to connect a Turck FEN20 Ethernet I/O block to a LT4301M to use as remote I/O.  I am actually trying to set it up as a test bed for both the LT4301 and the FEN20 as my company would like to consider using one or both of them in future low-cost projects.  So I have two basic goals: 1) prove that the LT4301 can easily be set up to use cheap EhternetIP (or modbus) expansion modules 2) prove that the FEN20 can easily be set up to work with PLC brands other than AB (because most of our customers are Omron, Siemens, or Melsec). So far I'm unable to prove either.  I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get the two to communicate.  Proface has several application notes with same GP-Pro example projects for setting up different communication protocols but none of them work for me.  I've tried several of the different EthernetIP protocols available on the Proface as well as several Modbus protocols.  I know others have set these Proface units up to work with Phoneix and Wago Ethernet I/O... so what am I missing?
  7. Hi Guys Is there a way to display torque tightenings from a Atlas copco PF3000 box onto a proface HMI  AGP 3400 Cheers K
  8. Lenze drive fault on proface

Hi I am having a problem with an error/fault code. The fault comes from a lenze drive as an integer. We have a proface HMI monitoring a DBW in the siemens S7 300 that holds the lenze fault code. The PLC comes up with a generic code "lenze drive fault". The proface comes up with the drive code. I would like the PLC to produce a fault description using the lenze fault code in the DBW, instead of the generic one [listed above]. could anyone please help with this problem Thanks Robbo
