  1. Hello guys, I am new to this forum and have some problems with my PowerFlex755 EENET frequency inverter. I want to do a point to point positioning task but my problem before I can have a look at the point to point positioning is, that the inverter is always running with 5Hz as soon as I give the start command. Even if I write 0.0 to the reference the output frequency is about 5 Hz. When I change my reference speed to 10.0Hz the output frequency is 12.X (see attached screenshots). . I thought that maybe a min frequency of 5Hz was set somehow, but I couldn't find a parameter and that wouldn't explain why I have 12.X Hz as the output frequency with a setpoint of 10Hz. And an other question, have someone experience with positining tasks with a PowerFlex755 and Point to Point positioning? I think in the first step it is not working because of the problem I described above, but maybe someone have a programming example or could tell me where I can find some information about how to use the Point to Point positioning?   Thank you for advice!  Matthis Josewski
  2. My Powerflex 525 VFD “Output Frequency” starts to drop out (20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 14, 0, 13, 0, 12, 11, 10, 0, 9, etc.) when the Command Frequency approaches and falls below approx. 14HZ. The “Command Frequency” however does hold steady and does not drop out (20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, etc.). The Pulse In Scale is set to 64. I'm using the Pulse Train Input, and as a test started the frequency of the Pulse Train Input at a frequency such that the Command Frequency started at 20HZ, and then slowly adjusted the frequency of the Pulse Train Input down such that the Command Frequency decreased down towards 0Hz. I did notice that this apparent drop out point is exactly one tenth of the Max Hz value. So for example, with Max Hz set to 140, the dropout starts to occur at approx. 14 (140 x 0.1 = 14). This apparent one tenth drop out point held true for other Max Hz values we tried, including: Max Hz set at 60 started dropping out at 6 Max Hz set at 100 started dropping out at 10 Max Hz set at 140 started dropping out at 14 Max Hz set at 180 started dropping out at 18 Max Hz set at 190 started dropping out at 19 Max Hz set at 200 started dropping out at 20 Max Hz set at 250 started dropping out at 25 Max Hz set at 400 started dropping out at 40
  3. Hallo everyone, i have a logix5561 PLC wich control a pumpsystem. The Pump is driven by a linear Motor. I need to perform frequency tests on the system. So first of all i  want to know how i can generate sine wave with this controller? I google it but didn't find any valuable information.   Can i perform such tests without additional hardware?  thanks for your replys!
  4. Continuous sine wave problem

Hi,  I encountered specific problem during work with PLC&HMI application. The main task of that system is controlling torque changes of induction motor with inverter&analog PLC output. There are few built-in functions to change torque: exponential, constant, trapeze and unlucky sine. All functions are implemented as array of 1500 values. When array reaches 1499 element, it comes back on first position and so on. It works without any problem for exp, constant, trapeze and sine wave with natural numbers of frequency e.g. 1Hz, 3Hz etc. The trouble appears when we want to control torque with float value of frequency and unfortunately its the most important part of that project. When the float value frequency is chosen, the last element of array is totally different than the first one. In result, in every period of array, appears drop of value. Check the attachments to comprehend what's going on. The first image shows GXWorks restriction of index. The second image shows how does it look on simulate screen, where it's representation of PLC registers D2000 - D3499. On third and fourth images you see values of registers in Device Memory Batch of GXWorks. Fifth image shows the script which I work on. Do you have any ideas how to implement float values of frequency in correct way? I should make an opportunity to online change of sine frequency in continuous way between 0 and 10 Hz, with 0.2Hz step. I will be very grateful for any advice.  Greetings, J
  5. Selling the drives below. Rapid company expansion came to a halt and our vendor is not offering what we need for reimbursement. Prices shown are already wholesale rated, however, I'm open to negotiating. Numbers spaced between the model number and unit price are quantities that are being sold. Serial numbers can be provided to verify age, but these are all brand new-old stock. 6. frequency converter

Hi guys I Have Question of Propo variator converter that there kind of drives her PHASE IN (230v) AND Nature / OUTPUT TO THE ENGINE 3 PHASE (UVW)? -or if required entry 3 phase (RST) and output TO MOTOR 3 phase (UVW)? I would be happy to answer :)
