hey, I can send pictures to display on HMI. I want to define some places on the picture as if they can do something if they are touched but i don't know how to do it? is it possible through macros?(dopsoft v2)(delta sb07s211)
  2. Delta PLC Analog Noise Reduction

Hello All, I am Using Delta SE Series PLC and 06AD Module for Pressure Transmitter. But Analog input get fluctuate continuously. Is anybody have program for analog scaling.
  3. I am trying to connect a Delta ASDA-A2 Servo internal motor encoder to a Delta DVP28SV high speed counter input.  I was successful in connecting the servo to the plc on position mode with an external encoder connected to PLC high speed counter.  Currently having trouble in finding the correct wiring between the servo drive and the plc to count the pulses from the internal motor encoder.  Attached are some figures from the servo drive manual. OA --> X0 is obvious, tried s/s to GND, COM-, VCC and VDD... no result. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
  4. Hi All, I'm testing Cx-supervisor communication with ODT Micropower PMAC controller on modbusTCP. I'm able to establish the communication using ModbusTCP driver with cx-supervisor. But, data I'm getting in is Low word first, so not able to convert properly. If anybody has tried any other option/script for this issue? I did not found any setting in Cx-Supervisor as in Kepserver, shown in attachment below: How can we swap the registers read as a 32 bit word from controller? Thank you.
  5. DELTA HMI and DOPSOFT

Hello, I'm using HMI DOP-B03E211 and its connected to DVP12SE11R PLC . I need help with some function in the DOPSOFT program. 1) I would like to implement a function that after 1 minute of no screen touching it returns back to the main screen. 2) I have listed the alarms in the ALARM SETUP (under Options) and i would like to link every one of them to the input registers (Xi) in the DELTA controller , for instance , i want to link between the alarm : "MAIN AC FAILURE" to X0 in the PLC. how do i do that using ALARM SETUP? 3) One of the customer's requirements is : in the main screen you got three buttons : 'operational' , 'maintanance'' , 'alarm list'. - when i click on operational button and then on the alarm list it should show me only the alarms which relevent to operational mode . when i click on maintanance button it should show me the alarm which relevent to maintanance mode. how do i do that? 4) I would like to enable the option to control that alarm list through the PC - in the PC i got an Excel file that lists the whole alarms in the system . i would like to control those alarm by that Excel file - Enable / Disable the alarm through that file and save that list in the HMI. how do i do that?   thanks in advance.
  6. I am trying to communicate Delta HMI Dopsoft -W software on PC and corresponding PLC program in Delta PLC ES2 .I don't have Delta HMI at the movement.I have prepare communication cable myself. This cable communicate properly when I simulate the plc Software with delta PLC software WLPsoft. But it dosn't communicate with online simulation with Delta HMI software DOPSoft-W .but whenever Ipressed any button on PC HMI I can see the PLC communication indication LED blinking every time. I have set all the parameters of communication many time but no use. I am using comm1,9600,even,1 and station 0 or some time station 1. but I get the communication error 7 and 10. evey time and no action. Every time I compile my program in dopsoft it compile with no errors, and if i go for off line simulation it works fine. I have put the correct read and write address of my used components, like X0, X1 and Y0 and data memory D400 same in DOPSoft and PLC. could any body help in this situation. I can also attached the image files of my PLC Ladder program and HMI program on PC later on.
  7. HELP WITH WPLSOFT DELTA PLC

Hello , I'm using DVP12SE11R Delta PLC . I would like to read data from an external device using RS485 communication. In the WPLSOFT i have informed that i gotta use MODRD command in order to read the data . but i am not sure how to use it properly.  the data is formed as one bit ('1' or '0') i wanna read 10 registers using MODRD although those registers are not ordered one after another and i know MODRD can read 6 registers one after another. Then i would like to use that bit as a Normally Open contact in the WPLSOFT and turn on a coil. i would like to get some help with it. thanks.

  10. Hello EveryOne, This is my first time in this forum. I am facing issue with DOPSoft on my laptop. When i am trying to execute offline simution of the screen, I get an error saying "TickersEmulator stopped working" & it closes the simulation screen. I assume its an error related to display/Screen etc. But not confirm to rectify the issue. It working fine on other PC. Where can i work to resolve the issue ???
  11. Dear All, At the moment, I have project with PLC Delta and HMI Proface. I design HMI GP2500 by GP-PRO/PBIII ( V7.0). I see in List Device PLC of Software  not support PLC Delta.  Can you tell me how do you connect or Software HMI Proface ( Gp2500) support PLC Delta ? Thanks you very much.
  12. Dear Forum, I am working at a Gas Processing Plant which is running Emerson Delta Distributed Control System (DCS). The Control System is communicating with over 24 3rd party Packages in the field over Modbus TCP/IP using its VIM Module. We have implemented redundant communication with most of the packages so we have a primary switch and a secondary switch. We are facing a communication issue regarding an Over Head Compressor (using Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC) and Instrument Air Compressor by CAPS Australia running XE Controller (Dedicated Controller). The issue is that when the Over Head Compressor is plugged into the VIM Network (Network in which all 24 3rd Party Packages are plugged), the Instrument Air Compressor **stops communicating**. We can't even ping the compressor. At times the Instrument Air Compressor does reply but with TTL of over 30ms. When OVHD Compressor is plugged out, Instrument Air Compressor resumes communication. I have attached wire shark capture of the network with and without over head compressor. When the OVHD Compressor is plugged in, the capture shows heavy traffic being generated by its PLC (IP address 192.168.1.60). Another physical observation is that before the OVHD Compressor is plugged in the VIM Network, the NTRON Switch (Ethernet Switch) in OVHD Compressor panel shows static lights, unlike lights of a normal healthy network. When the OVHD Compressor is plugged into the VIM Network, all the lights of switches in VIM Network which were blinking previously also become static. Do the static lights mean that the network is being choked due to heavy traffic? Below are links for the Capture, IP Scheme and Architecture of Over Head Compressor. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ar7ss8zzoo96g37/AAADguRpUDtdOnmN3xQX-Wlpa?dl=0 Please also note that OVHD Compressor is using following IPs 192.168.1.59  PLC (Internal PLC IP) 192.168.1.60  PLC (Internal PLC IP) 192.168.1.61  HMI (Internal PLC IP) 192.168.1.62  RedLion device for DCS Communication I would really appreciate if anyone would help me trouble shoot this issue.
  13. Hello, does anyone here know what instruction to use to read the analog value from ch0 and display the reading for DVP-10SX plc? I'm lost, need help.
