  1. GXWorks 2 Comment Translation

Hello, I was wondering if any of you have experience translating comments. To be more specific, I have been tasked with translating all of the comments in my plant from japanese to english. We have many different series of PLCs, but they are all mitsubishi, and I will be using GXWorks 2 for 99% of them. I had the idea of writing the comments to a CSV file, Translate them there, and then just read them from CSV back into the project. I have tried numerous methods, but it seems the CSV loses format and isnt able to be read back into GXWorks. Some of these comment files have almost 10,000 comments. Do any of you have any suggestions on the best way to translate these comments over, in a more automated way than manually one-by-one.  Thanks in advance for any support you can provide!
  2. I thought that this might transfer comments to the PLC. I opened a new project and read everything out of the PLC but there was none. Any ideas what it does and what's possible?
  3. Hey guys, I am using RSLogix 5 and I noticed that anytime I go to add a rung comment/title and there is an output in the rung that it attaches the comment to the output by default, and if it is a blank/new rung then it attaches the comment to the rung by default. I want it to always attach the comment to the rung, not to the output. Is there anyway to change it so that it automatically always attaches the comment/title to the rung by default regardless if I have an output in it or not. It's not a super impotant thing, but it is just getting annoying to always have to switch to "attach to file/rung" every time, and if I forget, then I have to go back and remove it from that output. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. I like to give all rungs a comment, just because it makes navigating them a bit easier. I often refer to variable names in the comment. For example, if I have a variable name "ExtendCylinder1", then I will probably have a rung called "Extend cylinder 1". If I later decide to change all the names of my variables, it would be nice if the comments automatically updated to match this. Is this possible?
