Please advice me how to setup password for cpm2a, using cx-p v3.1. i put it in the first rung. Then i click set password, then it shown "error setting system protection, the program is not protected with a FUN(49) function". it won't work regards, hendra

i need to connect my CPM2A PLC to several weighing device, can it be done using multidrop communication using RS485???

where i can find any sample of programming omron cpm2a with visual basic, i can connect it with vb using active x from cx programmer, but i don't have issue how to read or write PLC data.

i wanna use adapter serial (CPM1-CIF01) for my PLC CPM2A, when i plug it to peripheral port the RUN lamp is off, It can turn on only when i connect to PC and click monitor or program toolbar from cx-programmer, then my program can work well, but when i turn off the PLC then i turn on it again the RUN Lamp still OFF, when i unplug the adapter serial the RUN lamp can turn on. Is there any hint to solve it, Thanks

i try to remove the battery for more than an hour but the memory still not erased. I will try to borrow CIF from my friend first, btw thanks so much.

So i must have adapter serial CPM1-CIF for the peripheral port, or any other solution, because i don't have it.

my fault is my ladder is just -----------------------------------------------------------------|TXD | |dm0 | |ar9 | so when i turn on the plc it directly use it serial port to send data, so the comm lamp turn on, and i can't connect again to PC neither the communication switch on or off. And im using serial port, and the setting serial port is default, using hostlink.

dear sirs, im using cpm2A, then i try a program transmit data using TXD then i upload it to PLC, after that i cannot connect again to PC and the comm lamp is on. How is the hint to solve it or to reset the PLC, or any other solution. best regards.

if end statment is missing, but i can't connect my PLC to PC so how can i add the end statement. I'm using RS232 and no problem with the cable becouse it work with my old PLC.
