Writing Firmware for an Ethernet/IP Device

Hi everyone, we are digital display company that manufactures industrial displays. One of our more popular products are displays that use Ethernet/IP to communicate from a PLC. We are trying develop a gateway device that bridges the PLC (typically AB) to our serial input displays. We need help writing the firmware.
