  1. Likewise, I've been looking at OMRON resources regarding the CPM2A use of data / memory / bit address types. allocations, usage. Been trying to understand how to convert auxiliary, holding, data memory, timer and counter to use in ProFace HMI and RedLion HMIs. I'm just not finding much info to support how to convert IR, SR and LR types. Is there some type of secret resource out there for converting these last three specifically used by CPM2A? Bit Addresses (ie: 001000) IR Addresses (ie: IR000) SR (Special Area) Addresses (ie: SR220) AR (Auxiliary Memory Relay) Addresses (ie: AR00) HR (Hold Relay) Bit Addresses (ie: HR00) LR (Data Link Relay) Addresses (ie: LR00) TC (Timer & Counter) Addresses (ie: TC000) DM (Data Memory) Addresses (ie: DM0000)
  2. cx-programmer software

    Ok, perfect, thank you
  3. cx-programmer software

Has there been any success in finding a link to CX-Programmer? The above from BonLfoot doesn't contain software, only links to documents. I'n in need of CX-Programmer to remove and process for update a 2006 PLC program loaded onto an Omron CPM2A. [I'm almost afraid to ask if anyone has even discoverd a link to the program to purchase the software].
  4. Tracking down LogicMaster 90 and VersaPro 1.1.0 (Micro/Nano) was problematic, but it did help understand the issues.  After installing VersaPro 2.0, I was able to pull the program from the PLC to the LapTop. VersaPro did go equal after reloading the program back onto the PLC.  Outstanding insight! Thank you.
  5. We would like to update our PLC IC693CPU313U. But/BUT we do not have a copy of the Program loaded on the PLC. The only copy of the program is running on the PLC. We are trying to download the program directly from the PLC to the computer so we can then upload it later. We've had Techs out already, and they give up when they hear LogicMaster and VersaPro and IC693CPU313U. We bough a refurbished older laptop, it is successfully loaded with Lm90 and VersaPro. Computer connects successfully to PLC IC693CPU313U via serial cable. Online/Offline/Monitor success. LM90 identified the PLC Program Name: U1_8RG LM90 would not download the Program from the PLC to the Computer due to program on PLC being outdated. VersaPro would not download program from PLC, its error was: CPU not compatible with Nano/Micro edition. What are we missing in the instructions?
  6. The LogicMaster error:  Load aborted; PLC contains files which are incompatible with this release VersaPro 'connects' and 'reads' the hardware (CPU313, Hardware Revision 10.21; Software Revision 8.40; etc). VersaPro version though doesn't recognize the CPU313 Hardware with a matching Configuration files (available list does not include 90-30 IC693CPU313)...which from what I understand is a limitation of the program.
  7. Steve, The PLC was installed as part of the system in 1999, so its a little old which is also why we want to replace it. We'll pause the system in a few hours, and I'll copy down the words on the LM error. (VersaPro Error screen shot; LogicMaster v9.02 screen shot; VersPro edition screen shot) Thank you. Doug
