Multiple PLCs to a single robot

Is it possible to connect multiple masters (PLC) to a single slave (robot) in this case we have and L16ER which allows 4 ethernet ports that are all used and another L36ERMS which allows 48 i believe. The L16 is connected to the robot currently but will need communication with the L36ERMS as well. Is this possible?
