    Thank you for the quick reply. I was finally able to get an answer from Omron and it does appear that the NX will be better suited for multiple NA HMIs than the NJ.  It seems the response time of the NA connected to the NJ is affected by the task execution time ratio, the primary task period, and the number of NA units.  The response time of the NA connected to the NX is only affected by the number of NA units.
