    I don't know if there is any piracy law in SAUDI Arabia, coz  I'm working here right now.   I'm trying to force the management to purchase TIA pro. V15.1, for my next project. I hope so it will be approve.

    Hi everyone.

    I didn't meant to encourage everyone for a pirated software. But I want to know what are the advantages of using genuine license TIA portal V15.1 software over the crack license?

    Pirated is against the law. Yes. and how about its technicalities? is there any missing libraries? and missing updates? etc.

    I need your inputs, because I'm trying to discourage our management of using cracked license.

    that's a 3rd party s7-200 simulator for micro win. it will not work all the time.

    Base on your diagram ,it is possible but not quite accurate, since 10 minutes is long time  feedback. If "NO" other issue why not bring your acid dose closer to Alkaline dose. to reduce the response time.

    Is that a brand new CPU, no previous program installed? if yes then the LEDs are normal, once you download the program and you meet all conditions you will only see the green status LED only. Your problem is that you are not establishing the network connections. Please check your firewall settings and antivirus settings. check also your LAN connections, your IP address from the PC and PLC should not be the same. in your picture the RX /Tx should be blinking, indicating a data signal exchange. try to ping also, if the CPU will response, then 100% you can download the new program.

    hi, try to replace your encoder. i don't know what's exactly the history of your machine. if that's an old encoder and working before, a big possibility that is defective, or connections and cable issue.  if your encoder is new and not exactly the same spec as the original one , then try to check again its specification and the hardware configuration in the plc. You might use different plc, but in  s7-1200 sometimes you might adjust the input filters, or sometimes i might use word math instruction to create some factors for specific application or just to meet a certain requirement.

    Hello Omron programmers, have a nice day to you all.

    I just need your help in this, i hope you have explanation. 

    I added a few sequence to the machine with compare instruction D2255 and D2259 as memory data. I really wonder what’s going on. D2255 a decimal value of 9, when it transferred to compared instruction it’s 9, but when D2255 become 10 or above, when it transferred to compared instruction it will become 16 or above, there is an additional of 6 to the decimal value when it more than 9. I attached the photos of it for more details. Can somebody please help me? Thank you.

    Shehza2002, the simulator of s7 200 is a third party software not developed by siemens. the simulator key was already given above (6596), and you can download it legally for free in CNET and other website.  I recommend also the FACTORY IO 3D simulator. it's compatible also to a many brand of PLC's. https://factoryio.com/

    By using Prosave you can't edit the program and you can only downloaded it to the same model of HMI, unlike back up transfer you can edit the program and you can also change the device.

    You can only do back up transfer if the previous programmer enable the back up transfer option the last time he downloaded the program, if not then you can only use Prosave. This is what i experience in wincc 2008 flex.

    Just try this perhaps it will work, you have similar problem in one of my colleague. This procedure solve his problem.


    - Open the Control Panel of the computer
    - Check in the top right corner if "viewed as" (or similar) is set to small or large icons (not category)
    - Open "Set PG/PC-Interface (32-Bit)"
    - In the Drop-Down menu on top, check that the access point is set to S7ONLINE
    - In the list below are all network interfaces of the computer listed. Search there for the ethernet-adapter, with which the panel is connected to the PC and select it. CAUTION, there are 3 entries for the Ethernet-Interface, select the one that ends with ".TCPIP.1" (NOT .TCPIP.Auto.1)
    - Hit ok

    ProSave:
    - Set on the general tab the connection to Ethernet or PN/IE
    - Set on the general tab an IP-adress for the panel, which is in the same subnet then the computer
    - In the OS Update tab, check the box for reset to factory settings, enter the MAC adress of the panel and click on update (panel should be started before)

    If it still doesn't work now, disable all firewalls and anti virus softwares, because some of these softwares don't let neccessary packages pass, that are needed for establishing the connection.

    Is there any FM card or any other module in the slot under the station IM 153?  In my experience. example the FM  card will alarm due to the encoder was faulty. Your IM 153 will goes to System fault or SF alarm, and that will appeared to your diagnostic buffer. So try to consider also the module under your IM 153, maybe one of those module in the station cause the alarm.

    You need seimens step 7 software and  try to troubleshoot online.  go to the diagnostic buffer, and it will display which module or any that causing the problem. or go to the hardware configuration and online, you can see from there the modules condition, the module failed to communicate will be mark with x. is your CPU SF led is ON? what is the condition of the CPU? any red led is on. i mean the BF? SF?. try to secure the software, it will not take time troubleshooting if you have the software.
