The screens are good converted, only the Remote I/O communications are not so good. But I try now to delete the target communications RIO en starting manualy the RIO tag´s and configuration. mulderm

Hello, What's the difference between a Tag name and an Alias name created in the Input/Output of a rack using remote I/O in RSView Studio ME? I think I have a problem using tag-names and alias-names. Can they use the same name? Or I must choose between a tag or alias in an object? See attached files. Also when I refreshed the tag browser I can't see the created aliassen, why not? mulderm

Hello, I still have new problems with the migration of Panelview 1200 to Panelview 1500 Plus using Remote I/O on the PLC5. Now I get the errors: PKTX RIO Adapter Driver detected Block Transfer size mismatch for BT7 Rack 2 Slot 0 driver, BT8 Rack 2 Slot 4 driver, BT9 Rack 2 Slot 8 driver. I have attached the converted BT configuration (RSView Blocks.zip) and the Block Transfer in the PLC5 (Transfer Blocks.zip). Great solution Boblfoot. It works perfect. Many thanks guy´s. One question: Have the discrete output O:027. Now I want using the first 5 bits bits O:27/0 - O:27/4 for global connections to selecting the screens controlling by the remote I/O of the PLC5/25 processor. What is the alias and tag syntax for this? mulderm

I have setting the Rack configuration. But the problem is when I resized from 32 to 8 the Group 0/0 and 2/0 and 4/0 are gone. These option is not available, only when I set this back to 32 size. mulderm

Change the size in the plc is not an option, because the size of the data words for example 32 overwrite other data. So I want change the size in the BT configuration. The problem now is when I change example BT7 the size from 32 to 8 the group/slot value disappear and 2/0_ is not available any more. Wat must I do? mulderm

The problem is over with help from another forum: When I load the application on the Panelview they ask: Do you want to replace the terminals current communication configuration with the applications communication configuration? If I say Yes then running the application. Also must I setting automatic configuration Remote I/O on the PLC5. Now the connection is good. Now I have problem with the Block Transfer communication, see new topic. mulderm

Hello, I have an RSView Studio ME application using Panelview 1500 Plus on a DH+ network with a PLC5/25 processor. When I test the application there is no problem, but when I download the application to the panelview and the application run I get the message: The Tag ´::[PLC5]T14:23.acc´ has not been activated What does this mean? Now the follow converted tag have I tried using bitwise-shifting: Tag_DO02_7_0-7_4_Bin The expression: (Tag_DO02_7_0-7_4_Bin << 11) & 65535 >> 11 Now I get the error: Error at Line 1, column 17: Missing right parenthesis, ´)´. Crossbow, I have the PC/PPI cable 1PGES7 901-3BF20-0XA0. Only the settings for the baudrate (dipswitch 1,2,and 3), 10 or 11 bit (dipswitch 4),DTE or DCE (dipswitch 5) are available. Is this what you mean? mulderm

Hello, I have a PPI-network with a laptop with Microwin software and a Siemens S7-222 plc and an operator panel ESA VT150W. Problem is when I will going online with the plc I get a message: MASTERS EXIST ON THE PROFIBUSNETWORK AND THE CURRENT DEVICES DOES NOT SUPPORT MASTERS. TRY AGAIN AFTER SELECTING A MULTI-MASTER DEVICE. So I can´t go online on the network. When I will disconnected the operator panel then I can online with the plc. But this is not the way.
