Controls Engineer My client, located in Central Indiana, is a global leader in providing air and fuel management systems for the automotive industry. Due to growth and expansion, my client is in need of a Controls Engineer to join its team. The purpose of this position is to develop and install electrical and/or electronic designs for new and existing equipment as well as provide daily customer support. The successful candidates will possess the following minimum qualifications. Requirements: • 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree program • Engineering skills including knowledge of control systems, mechanics, pneumatics and factory floor equipment programming • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of computer programming • Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows, MS Word, Project, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications: • Develop, install, and modify manufacturing equipment control systems • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment using standardized root cause analysis techniques • Support LabVIEW equipment and utilize Visual basic to develop software solutions • Provide guidance and direction to other associates • Train other associates, develop schematics, deliver presentations and manage projects.
