Is the PLC in Monitor mode?
-
SCL3 Converts a signed BCD value to a signed binary value. The CP1W-AD041 provides a binary value, not BCD. Are you converting the number to BCD before using the SCL3 instruction?
-
Thank you Michael. Did not find that image.

Having trouble finding information on the CS1W-ID231 and CS1W-OD232. I think these are Fujitsu style connectors, but not sure. If you look at the front of the module, Are the top and bottom somewhat rounded, or are the straight?
-
There is no solution for terminal front connectors on 32 point modules.
-
Those are 32 bit I/O modules. There are no front screw connectors available. You will need to use cables (XW2Z-xxxK) and screw terminal blocks (XW2B-40G5). xxx in cable number = length in meters ie: 100 = 1 meter.

Go Online with the PLC. Go to PLC pull down menu, then Transfer, then Compare with PLC. They should match, if not, Transfer to PLC.
-
To force I/O you must be in monitor mode. How are you communicating with the plc, USB or serial?
-
You did transfer the program to the plc correct? gtsuport

N = size of data required, 40 for 20 cans. Source D120 Destination D122 After XFER, move new data into D120 After XFER is executed again, all data is shifted by 2 registers. gtsuport
-
Take a look at the XFER instruction. gtsuport

Also, looking at the values in the SCL instruction, your MAX scaled value is #64. Not sure changing the #1700 to #1770 will make any difference. And as IO Rack has said, it may be tied to the calibration of the input device.
-
I can understand your question. At 1700h you are at 98% of resolution. If you change this, it may affect other parts of the program. Just make sure you understand everything that will be affected. gtsuport

Part number of the expansion unit?

We do not have the CP2E in the US. From the manual, it looks like you could use socket services for the communications. See the W614 manual for more information. Just FYI, I think serial will be easier. gtsuport
-
What is the model number of the plc? What port are you using for the communications? Is it a built in port? gtsuport
-
Your TXD instruction is set to transmit 256 bytes of data. Can you receive information? Wondering if your cable is correct. Omron 9 pin port is NOT standard wiring. gtsuport

How to handle floating numbers in CX Programmer ?

CP1L will do floating point math, why convert? -
See manual W516 Section 8-4.

RS 232C Serial Communication between Magelis HMIGXU3512 and Omron PLC CP1E

I think your post is in the wrong forum. None of those are Omron part numbers. -
Please refer to manual W401. That is the manual for the CT021. Addressing will depend on the Machine or Unit Number of the module.

I do not think so. That was a program that Omron sold. It has been discontinued for quite some time.
-
For the Mini H processors, pretty sure you need Syswin or LSS. Syswin will run on Windows XP. LSS was a DOS program.
-
Look in the Omron Download section on this site. NTM 4.2 should work. Pretty sure this was a DOS program.
