  1. ELECTRICAL PRINTS ?

TinyCad. Here is the link..... My link
  2. PID Tuning Dilema

I would look into running a cold water supply to a TANKLESS WATER HEATER set to the desired temperature and control the valve between the heater and the point of need. No loop needed. No time lost in waiting for temperature to be gained. Tidy setup.
  3. PID Tuning Dilema

How often is the water needed? If it is continuous use, then having it flow in a loop maintaining temp. With an instruction to start when temp. is reached. This is how we do it with a heat tunnel. Easy to maintain than to gain a target.
  4. Elementary question

Thanks for the direction, Jeremy! I will check it out. John
  5. Elementary question

    Ron, Awesome reply! Thanks!
  6. Elementary question

    Thanks, again! Eli.
  7. Elementary question

Thank you Sparky. Again, if I may impose, the format I:0/0, I:0/1, I:0/2, etc. continues up to the number of Inputs on the card (0/8 for a card with 8 inputs)? How is a second or third card addressed? Is it I:2/0, etc.; I:3/0 an so on? Thanks for your patience, John
  8. Hello all, Me again with a basic question (or a question about the basics). The only instruction I have to learn by is for a 1 line circuit with 1 input and 1 output. The instruction says to double click the "?" mark and type I:0/0 for the input. It then says to double click the "?" on the output and type O:0/0. This program runs O.K. in the emulator. No instruction is given for a second circuit, so I tried on my own and on circuit 2, I put an input as I:2/2 and an output as O:2/2. This did not work. The window at the bottom that guides your corrections accepted as correct when I put the I:0/0 and the O:0/0 on BOTH circuits, but, alas, toggling any bit caused both to toggle. My question, how do I address subsequent bits in the circuits? Thanks in advance, John
  9. Mickey, Eli thanks for the reply!
  10. Hello all, I am absolutely new to PLC programming. I am a Machine Repairman who is transitioning to Electro/Mechanic. I downloaded and installed the RSLogix Micro Englis, RSLogix Emmulator and RSLinx without incident. Running on a 2005 Gateway laptop with WinXP SP3. I can program a very simple circuit so far, and I can get it to RUN but how do I get it to STOP? I either kill it by choosing GO OFFLINE in the pulldown or by HLT in the Emmulator. What is the proper way? Thanks, John
