  1. You are correct in the fact im trying to drill through the slc via DH+ to the DF1 Serial port. I will look for a alternative method to access the HMI via rs232. I have yet to find a usb to comm cable that does not consistantly drop communications during an upload or a download.
  2. This is rather disappointing considering with the older PCMK card i could communicate with the HMI through the processor. One would think with a newer product you would gain features not lose them. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
  3. Currently I have version 2.54 which is supposed to hAve the drivers built in as well. I can connect to everything else in the factory except these panelviews. I have tries the rs232 dfi driver which converts to dh+ after i set it up but still does not see the rs232 connection the the processor.
  4. I have a SLC 5/04 that communicates with a allen bradley panelview 600 through RS232. Since we started using this new usb cable I am no longer able to see the panelview in my list. Had no issues when we were using the older PCMK communications card. Anyone have any idea's as to why I can not see the PV in rslinx now? Thanks in advance to any and all who reply.
  5. Interface USB x Device Net

Have you tried the 1784-U2DN USB to Devicenet cable? Attached a PDF file on this product as well. 1784-in046_-en-p.pdf
  6. We are currently running 3 transfer presses 2 having slc 5/05 processors and one running a plc 5 processor. I am looking for a way to display numeric data as in just a batch count on the back of each press. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of Led display or perhaps a monitor that would work for this other than a panelview which will not display large enough characters. Im figuring i will have to go DH485 or DH+ out of the plc 5 and ethernet from the 2 slc 5/05's. Thanks in advance to any and all who reply.
