I need to make a cylinder extend and close a limit switch every three seconds then retract ; I am able to vary the pressure to the cylinder by a portional vavle which receives a voltage input from a compactlogix PLC. I need to make this a automatic procedure

thanks for the advice; here lie a new problem now at my college the computer which we use to are deep frozen so whenever you log out the computer resets to the default image and all the settings are lost; now whenever I log back in and restore the RSlinx Classic setting and redownload my PLC program and factory talk application to the PV; the communication setting are lost and the PLC and PV cannot communicate anymore. I was wondering if there is a way to save those setting without having to redo all my tags

Hello I am new to using CX-Programmer, experienced in using AB family of software, and I'm having extreme difficultly with using the analog output; I read the documentation and can't really make head or tails of it. This is my problem I need to output a 4-20mA signal to a VFD. The PLC that is being used is a CJM1/CPU13; what I've figured out already is that I need to enable the analog outputs but this is where my difficulty lies. My D(m) is 2010, I need to know how to enable the first output and how to configure its settings Thanks in advance for any advice
