We have a customer that is looking for us to build our equipment to be placed in a clean room. I was wondering if anyone has had experience in this and could point me to some specifications or "what not to do" as far as wiring equipment - proxes, switches, juction boxes, etc. We already have a mechanical outline for this but there is nothing about wiring. The spec calls out for a clean room 1000. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi, It can not works if you are slave both sides. Set the plc to Unitelway Master and it will be ok. JC

First,, I'm new to the Modican stuff - AB man myself. I have a TSXMICRO PLC and a Magelis XBTGT HMI. I'm having trouble getting the two to communicate. I have no problem with getting online with the plc. The plc has a pcmcia card that is setup to communicate with a servo. This is working fine. The term / aux port is set to Unitelway, slave, 9600,8,1,odd. I set the HMI to the same. When the HMI reboots, it times out with and error like - PLC failed to respond in time. I tried this while being online, offline and in each port TERM and AUX. Anyone have any ideas / suggestions on thing to check? Thanks
