Hi , I've got an SLC 5/03 and a panel view 550 and want to be able to stop the SLC if coms is lost with the panel view has any one got any suggestions there must be a simple way I'm missing here.....

Has any one put a 5/01 or 5/02 on to an ethernet conection I was thinking of using an isolated link coupler then a 1761-NET-ENI unit .As we have 2*5/01's ,1*5/02 ,10*5/03 , 1*5/05 and 1*micrologix 1200 scatered about the site the hope is to get them all networked to one standard the furthest points are about 1500m apart.Any help would be great.. I've gotthe demo software on my laptop now but need a cable to conect from com1 (rs232) have you any ideas on the pin conections as I''m strugling to find the plc2 manual its in the stores somewhere . Thanks Jezz

Hi all I use RS Logix 500 for slc programing at my work, and would like to have a version at home but as we only have one licience I can't use it,can I get a demo version from anyware as I only need it to write on as I can use the software at work to transfer programs to plc. Thanks Jezz
