  2. Hi To download the file from the ftp server you do not need ftp software like filezilla You can go directly via web browser into the ftp site and just download the file. There are some features on codesys that somachine doesnt have like alarming and some others
  3. The number of columns do work...But it will not change your existing ladder sections. If you change and create a new section you will see the change applied. So you could just copy the logic across to the new section. Just remember you cannot make this adjustment when online with a plc
  4. TSX 17 Failure

if i remember correctly you need an os/2 operating system.........i think you can make a virtual pc and os/2 can be downloaded.....Cable wise i am not to sure but i think it was a standard rs232 cable and you still get the wiring of it on google......The last tsx17 conversion i did was converting from pl7 pro to pl7 program and then converting the pl7 program to unity....all worked.... Only thing that was not iec was the timers
  5. this is defeating the purpose of a license and in my view killing the development of the software
  6. And if you left click on the target you will get all the settings of the screen. and in there you can set the ip where to download to as well
  7. Right click on the target (the blue square icon) in the navigator window. Should be right under the project name (at the top of the tree with vijeo green icon). If it is still grayed out got to help then about and make sure it is licensed.....(but even in a 21 day trial period you can still use all features)
  8. Just to need to use the run time installer. You install directly from within vijeo designer and specifying to download to ethernet. And when the download starts it will notify you if the runtime needs upgrading which it will do when you select yes. Make sure you put your patch lead into the ethernet port and not the rs485 port
  9. Ok i was mistaken....Looks like you can use vijeo designer or vijeo xd. That screen is what all the vijeo designer hmi's show when 1st powered. You could download with usb but you need the schneider cable. Or if it has a mini usb port any 5 pin mini usb cable should do. The easiest is to press the network icon on the top right and enter the ip you want. Then in vijeo designer specify that your target is that ip and then download to ethernet.
  10. M241 Web visu

I think your problem lies in the address you are typing into browser. Should be 8080 is the port number used
  11. M241 Web visu

did you add this option to your project? And what are you entering as the url name in web browser?
  12. HMID range is programmed with vijeo xd...........Unfortunately i havent done a vijeo xd hmi yet but for what it is worth you can normally set the ip address in the hmi runtime settings when it is a new screen or you must setup a modbus driver in the software and then specify the ip address of the plc and hmi in there and download via usb to the hmi   This link is for using a m221 plc but it at least shows you where to setup hmi settings in vijeo xd
  13. M241 Web visu

I have done webvisu with m241 so it is supported Will post my settings for those projects
  14. M241 Web visu

Everytime i have had issue with this it was either the antivirus or i had to install older versions of java
  15. tsx 702 plc

Ok 1st things 1st. Do you have the driver installed. In your device manager in windows does the unitelway driver show under comports when the cable is plugged in? If yes check the port number. Then go to your modicon drivers manager----------then unitelway----------the setup or config or something--------then a popup will appear showing your different instances of the driver------add one or select an existing one and edit---------make sure the correct com port is selected. Then hit ok and then apply-----your driver should reset and then show reset was ok. Now open the software and under plc select address settings. Make sure unitelway is selected and address must have SYS in it. Hopefulle it works then
  16. tsx 702 plc

I might be missing is Saturday morning........But are you talking about PL7 pro software? According to me you can only program tsx micros and premiums with that software. I also havent heard of a tsx702 plc which means its before my time and would be programmed with proworx or concept or older programs that run on dos or os/2
  17. Only the last stop is showed here... and they normally dont give a lot of details in the animation part. hence the system words that gives a lot more in depth details....but at least the last stop would point you into the right direction
  18. If you go to the config in project browser then expand the local bus.....then double click on the power supply it will open the rack viewer.....then dbl click on the cpu (not the com ports)......then go to animation you will see the last stop. There are system words (%SW) that give more details). but this you have to put in an animation table and check what the values mean according to the help file. You will have to go through the help file to see what %sw to check as there are quite a few that can cause plc stops like watchdog, floating point faults etc.
  19. Hi Anon Can you connect with unity to these plcs? Because you can see the last cpu fault when online. There could be multiple things causing this. So its going to be a step by step process of elimination
  20. does it ask for a password when you are trying to connect to the plc? or when you are trying to upload the program?
  21. starting with embedded webpages

If i was you i would look at any codesys based plc. (many manufacturers use codesys based software) You get webvisualization in codesys where you could build a Scada type web screen (hosted by the plc) that can be accessed on normal web browser. there are a few example videos on youtube. I have only used it a couple of times so not sure about the limitations regarding amount of data on a page etc. but for low cost this works well
  22. I dont think there is something for the Zelio like this. Just a smart Relay, not a plc. The Zelio initializes all inputs and outputs when there was a power failure or program stopped and started again (Except for certain functions that have a latch option). But saying that maybe just set a Marker bit at the end of your program and use the marker in the program. This will only set after one scan was completed. For more info look at the zelio help file and search for "How the Smart Relay Behaves in the Event of Power Failure" Hope this helps
  23. You use animation tables to view values online Also it could be that the byte order is swapped around of the register you are reading. Try reading a register which has a constant small value in like date or something to do your tests
  24. I have no experience with the machines....but from what i have heard they are expensive and you dont want to mess around with "cheap" brands. I would stick with brands that are into the terminal and pinlug business like Phoenix contact or Weidmuller. Phoenix contact has a handheld unit but its pricing is absurd. Almost the same price as the desk standing device. The devices you posted links for and the devices i am talking about are worlds apart pricing wise.
