  1. using plc clock as an input

thanks for the replies. believe it or not i new it was something along these lines. the problem is, i've never used a compare instruction in Omron. I really hate to ask you to hold my hand in this one, but would it be possible to supply some sample code? i'll look for that FB in the downloads section. i think i saw it there before. thanks again.
  2. using plc clock as an input

Hello, i am using a cj1m model plc and i was wondering if it is possible to use the plc clock to as an input. Basically, what i would like to do is start a counter when it is 7am and stop it at 3pm. i'm tracking the amount of parts made per hour, which is easy enough. i would just like the counter to start at the beginning of the shift and stop at the end. Right now i have it starting manually via a push button on the nt series hmi. each hour is marked by a 1 min pulse counted 60 times. i know that is not the most accurate way but, it is the easiest way for me.(still an Omron newbie) Any and all ideas will be greatly appreciated.

  4. part counter

  5. part counter

Does any one out there have a simple way of programming a parts counter? i'm really new to Omron and the help file just isn't cutting it. Basically, i just want to record the # of good parts produced and display on the Hmi. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
