    Hi, Can any body tell me the difference between status & memory bits used in the mitsubishi plc range. Why would you typically use one over the other? Thanks Andy
  2. Hi, If hyperterminal is already talking to the PLC i.e. receiving data why not just use the capture text utility within hyperterminal. Select the Transfer menu and then Select capture text where you can specify the name & location of a text file to hold the incoming data. Andy

    HI, When using an SLC500, is there any way of using indirect or indexed addressing of timer files? I know you can use indirect or indexed addressing of timer preset and accumaltor words, but what about the actual timer? Andy

    Hi, I want to upload a program from a C200H-CPU-3 PLC for backup purposes but the program is password protected. Is there any way around this. I am not familiar with omron PLCs so any help is appreciated. Thanks Andy
