  1. Definitiion of a plc

I would call them a PLC. You program them. They store and execute logic. They have inputs and outputs. They react to inputs. They control things. PIDs are a subset of PLCs.
  2. Op5 Lockup

I have a 216 PLC connected to an OP-5 OIT. I noticed that when I go online with MicroWIN/Debug, the buttons I have configured in the OIT for entering setpoints get locked up. They don't take new values. They stay locked up even when I go offline with MicroWIN. I can however navigate to other screens with the F keys and up/down arrows. I have to cycle power to the OIT to reenable the setpoint buttons. Has anyone seen this?
