  1. GX Developer Compile

Thanks guys, save hours of pulling hair out.
  2. GX Developer Compile

Hello All I have an existing GX Developer program for a Q02H that I am trying to modify offline. When I try to complile it it keeps on trying to access the PLC. When it can't find the PLC (because it's not connected) it says "USB communication failure please restart", click ok, it then says "Ladder not converted, Are you sure you want to delete the unconverted ladder", yes or no. Therefore I cannot modify the program without having a PLC connected. There must be some setting somewhere thats causing this........ cheers JC
  3. Modbus Qj71mb91

Roger10 Thanks for your reply. I suspected it was RTU capable, its good to hear that the Configurator software is easy to use as well. cheers John
  4. Modbus Qj71mb91

Hello Has anyone used the new Modbus card QJ71MB91? Does anyone know if it runs RTU or TCP? I am assuming it will work with Modbus RTU because it has an RS232 and RS422 / 485 connections and also in section 4.2.1 of the manual it describes RTU as an available frame mode. cheers John
  5. Emerson Delta V

Hello All Has anyone had any experience with Emerson's Delta V controllers and software? Cheers John
  6. Multiple Protocol Ethernet

Hello All I'm running a Q02H with ethernet (QJ71E71-100) connected to E-View SCADA software and also to an E1000 E-Terminal. Both of these devices use MC Protocol and are therefore compatible on the same network. I want to add a third device to this network (Veeder Root tank gauging system) however it doesn't use MC Protocol so I'll have to use the random access buffer method. Is it possible to run MC Protocol and random access buffer from the one ethernet card? cheers John
  7. Q Series Modbus

Hello All I am would like to connect a Contrec 802 blend controller to my Q02H via Modbus. As far as I know Mitsubishi doesn't make an dedicated Modbus card. Does anyone know how I might be able to interface the two? Cheers John
