Joao Manuel replied to Joao Manuel's topic in Modicon / Telemecanique / Schneider Electric

During this time i've been studying a like about Modicon M340 and Unity Pro and i just solved the problem with routine in ST, i'm very familiar with C and Delphi so it's very easy to solve the problem. But thank you anyway. Best regards Joao Manuel -

Hi to all again, Back to the PLC's world and continuing the project i'm stuck with this strange problem with the processing of the incoming sms's in the PLC, please tell me if i'm correct ! When receiving a new sms the modem sends to the rs232 port the following string : +CMTI:"SM",1 -> that makes 12 bytes in the A393, now the problem is that i am expecting this 12 bytes in the port but sometimes this message apears with less or more chars like without the "+" sign or with spaces in betwen ... !! Does anyone know wy could this be happening ? Regards Joao Manuel

I to all, I have this problem and dont know how to solve it. In a near past i used a CPM2A and a Westermo GD-01 gsm modem i managed to put it wrking well, the only thing was that i used a ready made cable provided by the client and i didn't have to worry about the pinout. Now i have this problem, i have another installation and don't have the cable, i've been digging and i got to this pinout which doesn't work and that is my problem .... Can you please help with this problem ? the pinout that i'm using is : DB9 modem side plc side 2-----------------3 3-----------------2 5-----------------9 7 8 shorted 4 5 shorted Please, can anyone give some help with this ? Best regards Joao Manuel
