  1. CJ1M-CPU13+NS10

The only way I see that it would be possible is to put your PLC's on a different port on each NS ... but tests is needed. By default, port A of NS is network number 111 and port B is 112. In that configuration, you'll be able to create a network table routing from network 111 of your first PLC to your ETN network (number to your choice) to network 112 of your second NS. - routing table in each NS and CJ must be done to adress the distant network and gateway node - you will need at least a V1 PLc and latest firmware version of your NS (V6) - RS232 protocol must be NT Link (1:1 or 1:N) - data would be exchanged by a SEND or RECV instructions in your PLC.
  2. CJ1G-H WITH CQM1H-CIF12

It will work fine but with limitation: max baud rate of K3SC is 38k

Little hints : this motion card can support one command at a time, witch means that if you want to execute a JOG command, you must not be asking for another command at the same time and your BUSY flag must be Off. Do not maintain your servo lock command. other hints : if you didn't modified your gear ratio and default speed, you will get a speed so slow that you won't even notify that it's turning ... change your maximum speed to a way bigger number (units are in units per minute ... not per second ...)
  4. ETHERNET

There's no direct way to connect a CQM1 or CQM1H directly to Ethernet network. The only network possibility that CQM1H family has are DeviceNet slave and Controller Link. If you whant to use your Ethernet to connect to a PC ... like for data logging or remote programming instead of inter PLC communication, normaly we use an Ethernet to RS-232 converter. Here in Canada, we use Digi One IA RealPort. You can look with your local Omron supplier what they offer. Theses comm adapters reacts like a remote com port on your PC. Hope this helps SimonP
  5. CX programmer question

you have 2 tools that you can use to know witch adresses are used in your program, First, the one I prefer is the adress reference tool , Alt+3 Second, is the cross reference report, Alt+X Hope this helps SimonP
  6. Omrom - PC communications C1000H

Hello Jayvan , I guess I understand your point ... When you're trying to connect to the C1000H with your project (configured as C1000H) , you're getting an error as if the PLC connected is a CQM1 instead of a C1000H. This happens when the CX-Pro can have an answer from the PLC but can't understand witch PLC is connected. In that case, I would take a look at all the comm devices. i.e. cable, comm unit... Your problem can be caused in that case by a simple bad dip switch setting on the communication module (like 7 even 1 instead of 7 even 2 ..) or a bad connecting cable. I wouldn't suspect in that case that your PC port would be opened by other software. Hope this helps SimonP
