  1. PME5.5 Programming via 15-PIN Power Supply Port

It is the same computer that I was running LM90 from. I have completely shut down LM90 before starting PME. I have tried a fresh reboot and then start PME with no success. I am getting no error. It just says "Connecting.." and that's all it says. I'm confused. I have even tried it on different PLC's. I guess I'm going to have to install PME on a different computer and see if that's Thanks for the help......
  2. PME5.5 Programming via 15-PIN Power Supply Port

I took my cable apart and confirmed it is exactly as you have drawn. I have attached my serial port config from LM90 which works, and the PME config which does not work. Can you check it against your set up and see if there is anything wrong? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm having a problem trying to get PME to connect to my 90-30 through the serial port connector on the Series 90-30 power. I have built a custom 15-pin to 9-pin cable from GFK-0356. I am able to program the plc fine with LM90 through the power supply port, but unable to connect to it with PME. I can connect to the PLC with PME through a cmm321 ethernet, but not all my PLC's have a CMM321. Am I missing something? Thanks!
  4. 90-30 to X10 / Home Automation

Hi, Has anyone interfaced the serial port on a 90-30 to a X10 setup inorder to control x10 devices from the PLC? Any information would help. Right now I have a "X10 PRO Powerflash Interface PSC01" for outputs and UM506 for inputs. This gets to be quite expensive and takes up lots of room on the wall. Thanks.
  5. 90-30 Module Door Paper Templates

    Thanks!!!! Exactly what I need!
  6. 90-30 Module Door Paper Templates

Does anyone know where to get the paper template that fits in the front door of the modules? Is there somewhere you can download them in order to print them out?
  7. CMM311 to LM90?

Wow, thanks for all the feedback! My cpu is a CPU341, and my LM90-30 version is 9.05. Yes, I have configured the module through the powersupply port. Yes it is in the same / only rack as the CPU. I have the infolink manual set, so I have read through most of that including the "Series 90 Serial Communication User's Manual (GFK-0582)" (numerous times), so from here a few questions... 1) I only have the option for direct connection or multidrop for communications connection in LM90. How do you select the CMM311 as the module you wish to connect to with LM90? 2) For the CMM311 setup, I have selected SNP only and slave with 232. I have built the CMM to workmaster serial cable in Figure 29 from the above manual. Is this the right method? 3) If you were to install a CMM321 and configure it (ethernet). Would you menu option change in the LM90 software to have that connection (ethernet) as connection method? Thanks again for everyone's help.....
  8. CMM311 to LM90?

I have a 9030 with a CMM311 module. I can't seem to talk to the PLC with the LM90 PLC programming software through the CMM311 module. I can't seem to find anything on it in any of the manuals. Anyone know if this is possible, and how to do it? I can talk to the PLC fine through the powersupply port, but that is being used by my quickpanel. Thanks in advance.
