chriswell replied to chriswell's topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
We have to supply a control panel with a plc that will communicate RIO with a robot control panel. We want to avoid installing an SLC. -
Hi everybody Anyone knows if a compactlogix remote i/o card is available on the market. By a third party and chassis mount.

Hi everybody I have a Micrologix 1200 1762-L24BXB. I would like to have a diagram of the internal circuit of the hi-speed inputs. The reason is i'm buying an encoder and i want to validate the data i'm having right now. Thank you P.S. do not suggest an allen-bradley encoder part number! lol, or at least if somebody can show me an allen-bradley encoder internal diagram who will work on the ML 1200 Thank you! Chris -
OK thank you

i'm planning to install a 1747-sn in my local slc-5/04 local chassis. I will add a new remote 13 slot chassis with 1447-asb. I will use 9 slot on the 13. My question is can i leave some free slot between some for future usage? example (1 slot adressing) slot 0 = 1747-ASB slot 1 = 1746-NI8 slot 2 = 1746-NI8 slot 3 = 1746-NO4I slot 4 = spare for future slot 5 = 1746-IB32 slot 6 = 1746-OB32E slot 7 = spare for future slot 8 = 1746-IA16 slot 9 = spare for future slot 10 = 1746-OA16 slot 11 = 1746-OA16 slot 12 = spare for future or should i do something like that? slot 0 = 1747-ASB slot 1 = 1746-NI8 slot 2 = 1746-NI8 slot 3 = 1746-NO4I slot 4 = 1746-IA16 slot 5 = 1746-IB32 slot 6 = 1746-OB32E slot 7 = 1746-OA16 slot 8 = 1746-OA16 slot 9 = spare for future slot 10 = spare for future slot 11 = spare for future slot 12 = spare for future Thank you very much
