    Hello, I have used the MVI46-MCM on many previous jobs and have found that it works very well. Prosoft is also one of the best companies I have found for technical support if you require it. The demo programs they have on their website should be enough to get you on your way. Brendan

  2. Kepserver Issues

    Thanks GhettoFreeRyder, for the logical response to another engineering marvel. I am aware that a Bristol can talk DF1 since I am a Bristol wizard, but I was hoping I would be able to solve the KepServer problems and just stick with the modbus communications. (I only have to a add 4 more registers) I will probably end up re-writing everything for DF1 protocol communication but doing so will just take more time. I will however be kicking someone in the sack.
  3. I have a panelview Plus 1000 that is talking to a Bristol RTU via MODBUS through the KEPServer. I need to add a few more tags to the panel and of course the client does not have any backup discs. I believe I have set up the server correctly and now I am trying to get the KEPServer application in the panelview. From what I read in the manual I have to flash the KEPServer to the PanelView but when I go to select a file to flash there are none. Are the flash files something extra that I have to find. C:\ProgramFiles\Rockwell Software\RSView Enterprise\FUPs is the default directory which does not even exist on my PC. Thanks for the help.
  4. Has anyone ever had any problems with the system time on a 3305 RTU? The time is incorrect in mine and when I try to change the #TIME system signals they just get over written. There is no time synching in the program so I don't know what is going on. I've thought about just re downloading the program with the correct time but I've never had to in the past. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions to this problem they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  5. I doubt it. Allen bradley panels will only talk to an Allen Bradley, or so my experience has shown me. I could be wrong though.

  6. Coprocessor Module for 90-30

    Has anyone use a IC693ADC311 alphanumeric coprocessor for a 90-30, and can help me find a manual for one. Trying to find a usefull manual on GE's website is impossbile.
  7. Does anyone know where I can find PBASE, the basic program software for the PLC-5 Basic modules? Thanks
