  1. Hello We are looking for a way to connect two AB plc's together to pass data. Each is at a different site. To far to wire or radio modem. Considering serial dail up modem, DSL, or anything else that might work. Ex. PLC 1 would be programmed to call PLC 2 every 10 minutes. PLC 1 would collect date N7 stuff and set a few bits and hang up AB's modem is call a Dial IN modem, AB site seems to have no ideas thanks for any suggestions Mark30504@yahoo.com

    Hi I have heard the RS500 is not running well under XP, also I have had the same problems using Windows Me, 98. Make sure your Virus Software is diabled when using RS Logix and minimize the number of background programs running. Hope this helps a bit. Mark
  3. Hello Need to be able to print out data from an AB 1200 Looking at useing the com port. Dont want the expence of WonderWare of RS View. Does someone sell a cheap package for this ? $200-$300 ? If not... Is there a easy way to print... I need to print something like the values of F8:0 - F8:30 Ability to format or dump to Excell would be great ! thanks Mark30504@yahoo.com
