  1. WinCC DP Diagnostic Project

    I am interested in the following example project to diagnose Profibus DP using FB125 and WinCC. http://www4.ad.siemens.de/-snm-0135109872-...nodeid0=4000024 I tried to run the Project Migrator but it will not let me (as it is looking for the Sybase db that was installed with WinCC v5.1?). Has anyone converted the project to WinCC v6?

  2. S7-3152DP as DP Slave To PC

    I have a plant in which there are 5 S7-3152DP CPUs (2 of which use their DP ports for remote I/O). The MPI ports of the CPUs are connected to OP panels as well as to a central computer for programming (using Step 7). I also have a PC based control system (which uses an SST profibus card and profibus I/O) which is a DP master. I would like to set up a communications link to all of the CPUs from the PC control system (to exchange data). What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to set up the CPUs as DP Slaves (even the 2 with Profibus I/O)?
