  1. Help with RSLogix 5000

Thank you Ken It is in fact my first program in AB, so any help is wellcome. I use mostely Schneider's Premiums and Micros, Siemens and Omron, but I must admit that I'm loving RSLogix 5000. João
  2. Help with RSLogix 5000

Thank you I manage to make this work as needed. Can anyone tell me if there is such a flag, that changes evry 50ms (Like the Modicon Premium %S5, and %S6, for those know that PLC). Thank's João
  3. Hello I'm doing my first AB project with RSLogix 5000. In the PLCs I'm used to, there is a flag that togles every 50ms that I can use for adding values to a index. Is there the same type of flag in AB? The image shows what I try to do. Will this work, or I have to call the routine 12 times with diferent parameters? Thak you João
  4. Hi Andy I don't think there is any PL07 software running under XP. Now I use Win98. You will need a computer with a real serial port. Near the TSX Nano port you will find a 10 (I think) position switch. Can you tell me if it is in the "0" position? João
  5. Happy holidays

This is just unfair. I'm not Canadian nor American, so for me those are just regular working days.
  6. As I said, I never used a XBT-G. You can use the INT_TO_REAL function to convert the integer to a float. I only use the Modicon documentation that you can find inwww.modicon.com. You can also find a FAQ section there. João
  7. Hi Nip I had never use one XBT-G terminal, but use the XBT-F every day, and I hope this one works the same way. I never use one input or output directly in the XBT, there is no way of doing it. You can only read words and tword bits (%mw0 or %mw0:x5). I see the XBT screen variables as if they were real I/Os. When you want to control an output relay with a wired input, you write some logic. that's what one does with a panel operator. When programing, I use this words and bits to comunicate with the XBT. When I need to turn on a motor, I do a rung with the with a bit to turn it on, other to turn it off (controled by thr XBT) and all the safety requirments. Hope this help João
  8. What kind of Modicon are you talking about? If you use the Modicon/Telemecanique TSX series inputs are %I X.Y and outputs %Q X.Y X is the position of the input/output card in the slot and Y is the number of the input/output in the card. João

  11. Telemecanique - Micro PLC

Hi It looks like a Zelio controler from Schneider, but with a diferent keypad and display. Can you post the part number? I tried to read but is impossible in this picture. Post this question in the modicon forum. I believe it's easy to have an answer there. João
  12. TSX47

Chris The day I find that Télémecanique started with the PL7Pro Software and ended the TSX 47 series, was for me a day of joy You will need a PC with OS/2 and the pl7_3 software and a cable...I still have a few TSX 47 working in some clients and pray that they keep like that 'till the client buys a new machine with a premium PLC. João
João Faik I read your question, but I failed to understand your problem. My French is not enough. I believe that there is someone here that can help you, but I’m sorry to say that you will need to post in English. I this that most of us do not now sufficient French language and MrPLC is an English speaking site. My English is as bad as my French, but I believe that if I post in my mother tongue nobody will answer me. I do think you could also register. João
