Hello All, I'm using CX-Programmer 8.3 (updated last night) to try and communicate with a CPM2A, via a third party USB-Peripheral Port Cable called USB-CIF02 (they're all over the web). I don't want to connect via the 9-in DSUB because there's an HMI on it. When I try to connect using Auto-Online, the cable and PLC both indicate traffic, but the connection attempt ultimately fails. When I check the drivers in CX-Server, I notice the CPM2A is not listed. But I cannot find any information about wether this requires a separate driver, or if it's already in there some place. Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks, TM

In theory, the guys who rip video games from old NES and Sega systems could puzzle it out pretty quickly. They'd likely do it just for the challenge. But who would you ask? Better to buy what you need properly and do it right.

Are you trying to display a final value, or the value as it accumulates? Also, are you using an M90 or an M91? What is the frequency of the pulses? Are you using the HSC or a normal input? TM
